Creating powerful calls-to-action, or CTA’s is a handy skill for all marketers. So why utilize these skills to provide users a reason to return to your channel through a call-to-action that is subscrib-able?
How does this work? The notion of inserting a CTA into a video sounds complicated, and probably exceeds your technical abilities, but YouTube has simplified this process by allowing marketers to add end screens and cards into their videos. These options are roken down below:
• End Screens:
An end screen is exactly what it sounds like, a screen where a call-to-action will be shown at the end of your video. End screens will enable you to direct your viewers to the next video, promote your website, encourage people to. End screens allow you to pick from four different elements depending on your object
You may have multiple elements per end-screen (like in the image below). End screens can pop up during the last 5-20 seconds of your video, which should be 25 seconds long at least.
• Cards:
You may not be comfortable or satisfied with end screens and this is where YouTube cards come into place. They allow your video to be more interactive, in the sense that they point viewers to a specific URL, show a video or playlist, promote your channel, or even poll your audience.
A significant thing to understand is that users need to click the little “I” icon at the right corner of the video to activate the cards.
